Del-Val 231 Modified Rubber Sealant (Black) is a single-component, thermoplastic rubber mastic built for protecting seams, penetrations, and detail areas on metal, wood, EPDM, APP, TPO, and Hypalon roofing systems. It cures to a durable, flexible, weather-resistant membrane with strong elongation, tensile strength, and UV protection.
Product Features
- Excellent adhesion to EPDM and other common roofing substrates
- Flexible, weather-resistant membrane with strong elongation and tensile strength
- UV-protective formula for long-term exterior exposure
- Apply by brush, roller, or squeegee at approximately 1 gallon per 80 linear feet
- Dry time 1–6 hours, full cure in 48 hours
