- Albion Backer Rod Insertion Tools quickly and accurately set polythylene foam rods in expansion and control joints.
- The tool is adjustable for placing rod at any desired depth up to 1" deep without puncturing.
- This #640-3 set includes a standard tool #640-5 with 4 depth setting wheels for 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" wide joints plus a #640-6 corner model (for cove joints) with four depth setting wheels for 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" wide joints.
- Smooth plastic wheels ensure no puncturing of the rod skin.
- Handle is threaded to accept the tamping blade (included) or a standard extension pole (available separately).
- For setting rod deeper up to 2" use accessory wheel 640-G20.
