RoofMaster 220 Key Features:

USES:

  • Specially formulated for use in damp, wet roofing situations.
  • Ideal for heavy-duty flashing cement repairs on flashings, asphalt shingles, built-up roofs, metal, and masonry surfaces.
  • Great for sealing leaks and openings at flashings, including chimneys, vents, skylights, metal joints, and gutters.
  • DO NOT USE with EPDM, PVC, TPO, or other single-ply membranes.

PREPARATION:

  • Ensure the surface is clean and free of dirt, dust, oil, or grease.
  • Surface should be free of any foreign matter that may interfere with adhesion.
  • In colder climates, store the product at room temperature for 24 hours before application.

APPLICATION:

  • Apply with a trowel or putty knife.
  • Spread Roof-Master 220 to approximately 1/8” thickness, working thoroughly into the problem area.
  • For cracks and blisters (1/4” wide to 2” long), apply United Asphalt Cotton or Fiberglass Fabric for reinforcement, then cover with additional cement.

COVERAGE:

  • Approximately 8 gallons per square (per coat)

CLEANUP:

  • Clean tools with Del-Val Orange Cleaner & Degreaser or mineral spirits.
  • Take necessary precautions when handling combustible liquids.

CODE APPROVALS / COMPLIANCE:

  • Meets or exceeds ASTM 4586 Type I and ASTM D-3409 requirements.
  • V.O.C. Less than 300 g/L.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • DO NOT THIN.
  • DO NOT HEAT CONTAINER.
  • Avoid storing in areas where temperatures exceed 120°F.
